My weekend stay at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel was a delightful blend of charm and modern comforts. From the moment we checked in, the staff's warm hospitality set the tone for a memorable experience. the room on the 24th floor offered breathtaking views of the Grand River, creating a serene backdrop for our celebration. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the historic Lumber Baron Bar with its cozy fireplace to the elegant Pantlind lobby adorned with world-class chandeliers. We indulged in delicious breakfast at the Kitchen Counter by Wolfgang Puck, a perfect start to our days of exploration in the vibrant downtown area. One highlight was the hotel's proximity to a variety of attractions, making it easy to explore the bustling city center on foot. We savored the local cuisine at Stella's Lounge and enjoyed the convenience of having shops and a Starbucks within the hotel premises. While the rooftop pool didn't quite meet my high expectations, the comfortable beds and scrumptious breakfast made up for it. Overall, Amway Grand Plaza Hotel offered a perfect blend of history and luxury, making it an ideal choice for a special occasion or a relaxing getaway. I would recommend this hotel to those seeking a mix of sophistication and convenience in the heart of Grand Rapids.
